I have been working at The Norwegian Computing Center since 2000. I completed my master of science in insurance mathematics at the University of Oslo in 2000 and my PhD thesis, also at the University of Oslo, in 2006.

I have been working on various projects, for example register data analyses (benzodiazepines, antipsychotic agents, cholesterol-lowering drugs, proton pump inhibitors, asthma medications), meta-analyses (osteoarthritis treatment, antidepressants), multiple comparison analyses (antihypertensive drugs, beta-adrenergic blockers, disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, antipsychotic drugs) and time series modeling (benzodiazepines, antibiotics, earthquake, insurance).

My PhD thesis Bayesian Hierarchical modeling applied to insurance claims, earthquake predictions, marine biology and medicine, contains two main topics. The major theme is Bayesian Hierarchical models in time and space-time. The minor theme is Bayesian meta-analyses of medicinal trials. My supervisors for the PhD were Bent Natvig and Geir Storvik.
